CRACKDOWN ON THE CUBAN CHURCH! Can this happen to Brazilians if Dilma Rousseff implements "Bolivarian Comunism" too.

Dear Alberto,

In our new report, CSW has found that there was a tenfold increase in the number of violations of religious freedom in Cuba in 2015. 2,300 separate violations were recorded in 2015, compared with 220 in 2014.

That's 2,060 more incidents of harassment, intimidation and even violence committed against churches and Christians.
That’s not all, either. Throughout 2015, the Cuban government used new tactics to tighten its grip on religious groups.

In the course of one year they:
    • Declared 2000 churches illegal
    • Ordered the closure or demolition of 100 Assemblies of God churches in three provinces
    • Arrested Revd Jesús Noel Carballeda and sentenced him to six months’ imprisonment, the first time this has happened to a pastor since 2012 (to CSW’s knowledge)
    • Ordered all religious groups in the city of Santa Clara to submit requests for all activities in advance for review and permission
    • Orchestrated an unprecedented crackdown on the church.
This is the same year the Pope visited Cuba and the country was widely praised for improving religious freedom. But, as these facts show, the reality is that any improvement has been merely window-dressing.
Take your stand against the #cubacrackdown.
This is your chance to take a stand against the #cubacrackdown and show the Church you’re with them:
    1) Share our new report and timeline showing the extent of the Cuban government’s religious freedom violations using the hashtag #cubacrackdown.

    2) Stand with Cuba’s Christians by sending them a message of encouragement.

    3) Support CSW’s work on Cuba so that we can keep gathering evidence, working for churches like Maranatha First Baptist and telling the truth of what’s really happening. Give £15 today to help fund our Latin America team.
I know that together we can make sure the true story is told and take a stand against the #cubacrackdown.

    justice.
